PARIS FASHION WEEK- Day 1

Paris fashion week has started with the very unpleasing John Galliano episode. He has been fired from Dior and even if someone says it was "conspiratorial", I can't nothing but agree with this decision.

But let's talk about the shows!

HAKAAN was the major show of the day, situated at the Ritz and the clothes on the runway were insane as the front rows: everyone that matter was there, to confirm his status of new editors' favorite.
Maria Carla Boscono, Natasha Poly, Anja Rubik, Arizona Muse, Joan Small, Freja Beha and Natalia Vodianova walked mostly in little stretch dresses that left very few to the imagination. A small navy blue dress with a feather skirt and a red feather coat wore on red trousers were breath-breaking. A good point also for the flat shoes.

Ghostly atmosphere before the show at Palais de Tokyo

I attended also the NICOLAS ANDREAS TARALIS show, where models (boys and girls) walked in sharp, areal creations opened on the sides, showing a hip, a leg, a naked back... The music from Church chorus to hard rock (Metallica?) completed the Gothic atmosphere.

A special thanks to the free bus service that makes everything more simple! (Paris doesn't have a Lincoln Center yet, so you have to run all around the city all day long).

PS. Pictures are taken with my Blackberry, seen that in Milan I have lost my camera (I suspect my older sister to have something to do with that, but an accurate investigation has to be done), so this is the best I can do! Sorry!
