LEAVING THE HOUSE

Really, I don't know what's happening in the Fashion World.
Since the beginning of the year, a "music chair" ball has been taking place in fashion Houses, with designers leaving (fired? resigned?) and speculation about who'll be next.

And not only designers. First of all, it was Carine Roitfeld who left her position as Editor in chief of Paris Vogue after 10 years. After months of crazy gossip involving even Tom Ford and Hedi Slimane, Emmanuelle Alt scored the job and Carine is now part of the Barney's team.

Then, just before Paris Fashion Week, it came the John Galliano's affaire.
Dior said his successor won't be elected before Fall, but rumors give Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci as confirmed.

Clare Waight Keller quit Pringle of Scotland early this month, leaving the creative direction to Alistair Carr, before at Balenciaga.

On March 14th, we got the news that Milan Vukmirovic is out from Trussardi

On March 18h, Vanessa Seward dismissed from Azzaro

On March 29th, it's the turn of Cédric Charlier to separate from Cacharel.

Most of these designers have held the job only for a couple of seasons and my opinion is that brands don't have anymore the patience to wait for the team to match up, for the customers to get familiar with the new style. If results don't come immediately, Out! Next one!
So wrong and so destabilizing.

The only one who succeeded to resuscitate a brand in a few seasons is Guillaume Henry with Carven. And I'm still wondering how this could have been possible.
