So far, the Prabal Gurung's show is the best I have seen.
Sunny, elegant, dressed-up but not lady-like. And original.
Mr Gurung manages to follow the seasonal trends keeping at the same time a style that is truly his own.
He is part of that wave of new American designers emerged a couple of years ago- Jason Wu, Phillip Lim Thakoon, Alexander Wang, Altuzarra, etc- but while the others seem have lost a little bit of their freshness and originality, Gurung still stands out.
