Only a season ago Ferragamo was a sort of Sleeping-Beauty of fashion, a house with an incredible background, great potential, but a foggy present.
Now, under the new led of Massimiliano Giornetti it seems as the Beauty has woken up again.
The Resort collection shown at the James D. Duke House was glamorous, elegant and modern. The perfect gowns their host Doris Duke could wear at a garden party.
Fabulous cast of super-models, socialite/designer Vanessa Traiana included.

(Zadig&Voltaire tee; Acne jeans; Lanvin shoes)
Second Day of Shopping: I couldn't resist when I saw these pink Acne jeans.
They reminds me a pair of trousers I had as a child.
In the inside, the etiquette reads: "Ambition to create novel expressions": how to ignore such an invitation?

Today we are shooting at Plaza Athénée, one of the most luxury hotel in Paris, in Avenue Montaigne.
Everything's fabulous, from the catering made by Alain Ducasse to the service (do you need a latter? an extra screen? you can have it all and delivered straight to your door)
Maybe the air conditioning is a little too high, but seen outside it's 35°C, it's not that bad.
These are the only pictures I could manage to take with my Blackberry.
The restaurant in the courtyard looks like Heaven.
Can't show the clothes until the campaign is out!
Just to give an idea.

Gap jacket, Current/Elliott jeans, Rondini sandals
Here in Paris is so cold those days, that I had to rush to the nearest store to look for something warmer than a tank top to put on my back, seen I've left all my winter clothes in Buenos Aires during my last trip there.
Luckily enough, winter collections had already hit the stores, so in the end I found this Alpaca wool jacket at Gap. It looks a bit like the Isabel Maran's ones, but it's definitely cheaper.
Let's say, also the only non on-sale article in the whole shop.
